Therefore we have been inspired to scour the world and bring to YOU the finest examples of the Arcade.

That's exactly what you get at BARCADE in Brooklyn 

Barcade is a combination of bar and arcade with a focus on vintage video games and craft beer.

Barcade was opened in 2004 in a former metal shop on Union Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Before the time of the opening of Barcade one of the owners was making a road trip documentary profiling the American craft beer industry, and this coupled with time drinking craft beer and playing the classic 1980’s video games led to inspire the founders of Barcade to quit their day jobs, max out their credit cards and begin work on creating Barcade!

The founders of Barcade did most of the construction themselves, keeping the look of the metal shop warehouse and garage that the space had been, and the bar opened in the autumn of 2004.
