Remember when Saturday morning kids TV ruled the world!?
It was a time when there wasn't 24 Hour Kids TV.
It was pre Nickelodeon. It was a time when your body clock was set by the time the cartoons came on in the mornings.
VHS Was King!
If you couldn't watch it then the humble VHS cassette was your friend.
Either you had a blank VHS to tape your program or if you were lucky you had the whole series given to you as a birthday present on double VHS.
These were great times. The best times for Cartoons were during the summer holidays when every morning the cartoons were on till 11am.
There was no You Tube and no other way to watch your favourites.
Growing up during this period of time in the 80's and 90's felt like we were truly spoiled for choice when it came to the coolest cartoons of all time (at least it felt like that at the time).
Here's my Top 10 Cartoons from my childhood and i'll be seeing how they look now 20 years after I stopped watching them! This could be brutal......have they lasted the test of time?!
1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 
Theme Tune: Still Awesome!
Cartoon: Still Awesome!
2. HE MAN⚔
Theme Tune: Still Awesome!
Cartoon: Still Good.
3. THUNDERCATS
Theme Tune: Good.
Cartoon: Good. (Mummra Still Scares Me!)
4. CITYS OF GOLD
Theme Tune: Still Awesome!
Cartoon: Still Awesome!
5. DOG TANIAN
Theme Tune: Good. (Bit Longer Than I Remember)
Cartoon: Good.
6. BANANA MAN
Theme Tune: Alright.
Cartoon: Good. (and still funny!)
7. DANGER MOUSE 
Theme Tune: Still Awesome!
Cartoon: Still Awesome! (and funny!)
8. TRANSFORMERS
Theme Tune: Good. (not quite as good as I remember it though...)
Cartoon: Good.
9. DUNGEONS & DRAGONS 
Theme: Not Great. (actually it's pretty crap!)
Cartoon: Still Awesome!
10. DUCK TALES 
Theme: Still Awesome! (better than ever!)
Cartoon: Still Awesome!
So Overall And Very Surprisingly It Seems That My Favourite Cartoons Have Stood the Test Of Time!
