☆ Video Games Recipe Of The Month: 1 - "Yoshi's Cookies" ☆

There's a mountain of cool video games related recipes out there and I thought we could share the wealth of video games cooking and baking goodness with the good people of Games Freezer...

So here we go with our first attempt.......

1: "Yoshi's Cookies"

(Taken from Super Play Issue 11 - September 1993)


Ingredients:

  • 110g Butter
  • 50g Caster Sugar
  • 175g Plain Flour
  • Green Food Colouring
  • Baking Sheet (greased)
  • Cookie cutter (Yoshi shaped)
Method:

  1. Beat 110g of Butter until soft
  2. Beat in 50g of Caster Sugar
  3. Beat in 175g of sifted Plain Flour
  4. Add 3 drops of Green Food Colouring
  5. Mix well to form a paste
  6. Transfer to a board dusted with Caster Sugar 
  7. Roll out to 3mm thick
  8. Cut out Yoshi shapes
  9. Place these Yoshis onto a greased Baking Sheet
  10. Cook for 30 minutes at gas mark 2/300F/150C
  11. ENJOY!
