The headphone software looks to dynamically position sounds around the game environment, so you should be able to hear enemies approaching from any direction and pinpoint their whereabouts. Venom is aiming to replicate the experience of a high end 7.1 home cinema environment

Comfort:
2 Hours of gaming and listening to music and I forgot I was wearing the headset.
More comfortable than most faux leather headsets I have worn.
Only slight annoyance was positioning the headband in the correct position to be comfortable. Maybe they could have gone for a bit more padding on the headband?
The earphone cable is a little on the short side for those who like to game from afar but as I'm a 'desk gamer' this didn’t really impact me too much. Maybe if you are looking for a bit more of a remote gaming experience then you could consider a dearer set of wireless headphones?
Gaming Audio Quality: 
Nice and bassy when I played DOOM on the PS4. I could really feel those demons as they pelted fireballs at my head and ripped my arms off!
The vibration technology was a nice addition but I think I need to experience that on a few more games in order to fully appreciate the effect.
The 3D button ramped things up nicely and added extra punch to the bass.
Music Audio Quality:
Using Spotify on PS4 I was able to sample some tunes for an hour or so and the music audio quality was solid but not remarkable. I’d say that these were built for gaming specifically rather than music so the limitation is understandable.
The bass was pretty good though.
I also used it on my iPhone by plugging the jack straight into the phone and again it produced some solid sounds on my favourite tunes.
Microphone Quality:
Mic headphone is not great for streaming but is adequate for voice chat.
Verdict:
- A really solid set of earphones for gaming which delivers great sound for gaming sessions
- £50 is a great price for such a good sounding headset
- It’s a shame the microphone just falls short of the acceptable level for streaming to YouTube etc
- The headset feels sturdy and has good comfort levels for prolonged use
- Highly recommended and gets an ICE COOL rating from Games Freezer
