I just watched the teaser trailer for Castle Of Heart on Nintendo Switch and I am liking the look of this Switch Exclusive action platformer.
The game comes from 7Levels, the Polish indie developer, and it will be available in the Nintendo eShop in Europe, North America, Mexico and Australia from 23rd of March 2018 at price $14.99/€14.99/£13,49.
Apparently, Castle of Heart is an action platformer where players take control of a cursed knight who has been turned to stone by an evil sorcerer’s spell.
The cursed knight must travel all the way from their petrified village to the dark ruler’s castle, mastering each of the levels along the way.
It kind of sounds like a modern day Golden Axe...
Interestingly according to the press release:
"The game’s aesthetics and bestiary are in equal parts inspired by Slavic mythology, with some environmental details derived straight from famous, mystical locations in Poland, the developers’ home country, and the dark fantasy atmosphere of the best action platformer titles from the genre’s golden age"
This is definitely one that I will keep my eye over the next few weeks and hopefully I'll get a chance to test drive it and let you know how I get on...
