I originally reviewed Liberated in its original form back in June 2020 (https://www.gamesfreezer.co.uk/2020/06/liberated-review-nintendo-switch-well.html) and my take on the game was of a positive experience marred by technical issues.
The technical issues were the unreliable frame rate, which made aiming an issue as well as the janky physics in-game and unresponsive controls.
These, combined with the lengthy loading times really affected my enjoyment of the game and this was a shame as the visuals, story and general atmosphere – as well as a saucy soundtrack – were clearly being held back by the technical limitations.
Fast-forward to this enhanced version, however, and the improvements really shine.
