Epic Llama Studio has just announced that the Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming point-and-click adventure title Unusual Findings has just launched. The funding from the Kickstarter campaign will be used to bring Unusual Findings to additional platforms, including Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 4 and 5. Any additional stretch goals will allow the team to expand the game with new scenes, mini-games and more.

Unusual Findings has players joining three teenagers - Vinny, Nick and Tony - as they uncover a strange number of mysteries going on right under their noses. One night, when trying to decrypt a pay per view adult channel, as teenagers do, they pick up the distress signal of an alien spaceship. The teens soon discover that that’s not the only weird thing happening in their town.
Get ready to feel like you’ve jumped right into the 80s as Unusual Findings takes inspiration from teen adventure movies like The Goonies, Monster Squad and The Lost Boys. Gameplay will remind point-and-click fans of the likes of Monkey Island or Grim Fandango. Players will have to visit the game’s different 80s-inspired locations, solve puzzles and make difficult choices that will affect their friendship and the entire story. Those looking for a hit of nostalgia are sure to fall in love with this wacky, spooky, out of this world story.
Features Include:
- A classic 90s-inspired point-and-click adventure with retro 80s style
- Stylish (and stylized) pixel-art with modern shader and lighting effects
- Fully voiced dialogue without the hassle of installing a dozen floppy disks
- True old-school puzzle design. Mash together every item in your inventory
- An authentically retro synth-wave soundtrack for the 80s Hollywood flavour
- A cast of charming and memorable characters and three playable heroes
- No pixel-hunting - reveal all interaction hotspots with a handy assist mode
