Trust 24533 Comfort Trezo Mouse & Keyboard Review πŸ–±️⌨️ @TrustGaming

Silent, sleek action at a reasonable price, this desktop combo from Trust really does lessen the noise you create when working from home, with softer keystrokes and mouse clicks.

Offering a full-size keyboard, I was initially concerned as some keys appeared to stick for the first few touches– but it quickly became clear that it was just an ‘initial use‘ issue, as they smoothed out within moments of typing.

The keyboard design itself is quite no-frills in terms of design, although there are plenty of shortcuts available. I often find that keyboard tilt/height is a mild irritation, but the Trezo keyboard sits at a really comfortable angle for long typing sessions (it also doesn’t have a ‘grill’ design in the wrist rest and so is easy to wipe clean.

I’ve been using the setup for several days without issue, and the battery-powered setup over a USB-charged keyboard really does relax your mind, as you know you won’t have to worry about wires or re-charging for well over a year, as the two Duracell AAs (supplied in-box) powering it are more than up to the task of keeping the dream of longevity alive.

Just a word of warning though - as already mentioned, this is a full-size keyboard, and although you’ll be saving space in terms of wires, it takes up a fair chunk of your desktop.

In terms of the mouse – which runs off a single AA battery, again included in the box– it feels robust, and weighty, meaning that it grips the desk nicely and doesn’t feel floaty, cheap or slippy.

It’s not a gaming-specific mouse, however, so don’t expect RGB lights and myriad button shortcuts, this is pure ergonomic practicality. I have medium-sized hands, and it’s a pleasantly comfortable fit which I can use for hours at a time without concern or discomfort, although I do wonder if those with much larger hands would possibly find the mouse a little too compact for their tastes. Something to bear in mind if you are a pro basketball player or a wrestler with the word ‘giant’ featured somewhere in your pseudonym.

The ease of setup, accessibility and overall simplicity of use is refreshing here. It may be too understated or lacking in snazzy functions for some, but I find the combination quite low-key and practical for home and office work.

I often type well into the evenings in the same room as my fiancΓ©e, and the softness of keystrokes/mouse clicks certainly makes me feel less of an intrusion as I type away in the background as she watches Death Ring (starring Billy Drago, Don Swayze, Chad McQueen and Mike Norris).

I can also see the more silent design of the moving parts being a blessing for parents, housemates, and siblings sharing a room – especially the more heavy-handed amongst you!
