Gamesir T4 Mini Multi-Platform Game Controller Review "T4 Mini or Nothing in Our House!" 🎮 @mygamesir

The Gamesir T4 Mini is a really funky little thing. As I waited for its arrival, I wondered if it would be great for kids, but perhaps too fiddly or dinky for adults – which would be a shame, as quite frankly – I liked the design and lighting setup.

As it turned out, those concerns were unfounded, as I not only found the Gamesir T4 Mini to be an awesome little controller for my own use, but it got great feedback from the three other people that have used it over the last few weeks as well, all of whom are very much of differing sizes.*

First off, the packaging is concise and neat, with the box being of snug and mini design, reflecting the controller itself. The accompanying instructions are also petite and straightforward, meaning that I was up and running pretty quickly, along with knowing how to make personalised adjustments such as vibration intensity pretty much by the time my Switch had fully booted up.

For the purposes of reviewing the controller, I made it my primary pad for all Switch games played over the last couple of weeks, and it’s been a solid experience. I’ve always been drawn to space-saving controllers – I think mainly out of a pathological fear of storage issues, from having so many controllers, cables, consoles, systems and games dotted around – and the T4 mini very much ticks that box for me!

As mentioned above, it wasn’t just me that used the T4 mini over the review period. My brother and fiancee also used it – at different times, natch – and each found it cool and comfortable.

All of us are old enough to remember the tension and fear during the ‘90s and ‘00s whenever you were the fated fourth player during a gaming session….and the host would dig out some wretched third-party contraption for you to deal with, the pad itself possibly being your most difficult opponent of the evening. Of course, those days are mostly gone now, thanks to third-party controllers such as the Gamesir T4 Mini. Good riddance!

SUMMARY

In summary, the T4 Mini is a wonderfully-priced controller that allows a degree of personalisation in the setup in terms of vibration intensity, turbo (key for those shmup lovers out there) and lighting whilst also being suitable for various grip sizes, all in all – a winner!

*The third user is my two-year-old son, who now -every morning- likes to turn the lights on and fiddle with the controller as he watches cartoons, under the impression that he is somehow controlling Peppa Pig. This may be a humorous aside, but he really has no interest in any other controller, it’s the T4 Mini or nothing in our house!
