It is with great excitement that we present you with Astebros, a rogue-lite platformer which is a prequel to Demons of Asteborg. Unlike its predecessor, Astebros has a two-player option after the devs, Neofid Studios, listened carefully to the community’s feedback and decided to respond to their request by offering an even more immersive and user-friendly gameplay experience.

Thanks to the support of the backers, the Astebros Kickstarter campaign was successful, allowing them to raise over €100,000. This is Neofid Studios’ most ambitious project to date, and they worked tirelessly to deliver a game that lives up to fans’ expectations. 

Astebros is a game that combines the classic elements of the platformer genre with rogue-lite elements, providing a unique and dynamic experience in every game. Players will be able to explore thrilling environments, battle formidable enemies and discover a compelling story that delves deep into the origins of the Demons of Asteborg universe.

Astebros’ History

The story of Astebros takes place several hundred years before Demons of Asteborg... An exploration battalion is sent by King Isaac to conquer the hostile lands of Asteborg.

Unfortunately, not everything went as planned... Indeed, the king received a strange letter calling for help. 3 heroes: a mage, a ranger and a knight are then sent to save their colleagues and conquer the continent of Asteborg. They will meet Rorick on the way, a strange guide with mysterious origins.

Astebros is an action-platform rogue-lite that can be played alone or in pairs. Choose your favourite hero among the three, the knight, the mage and the ranger and free the prisoners by defeating the formidable bosses.

Gameplay

Each room is randomly generated. Each new game will be different from the previous one, but you will keep some of your precious finds! Your character’s stats can be upgraded as you progress, to give you more strength or speed.

Some secret items will even give you extra abilities! You will collect resources and equipment along the way to upgrade your characters.

A boss will be waiting for you at the end of each level, you will then return to the camp where you can craft new weapons and spells, before moving on to the next level. 

Stay on your guard, because Game Over will be final!
