SEGA Mega Drive Game Preview – The Viking & the Ninja 📯🥷 @DelayedAgainAB #IndieGame #GameDev

The Viking & The Ninja is an action RPG similar to the Dungeon Explorer series, set in an anachronistic fantasy setting with a lot of humour. The main theme and gameplay centres around cooperation between the two playable characters, but to succeed you also need to explore, fight bravely, and talk to other characters with important information.

As everyone knows, Mega Drive games are extremely important things that are vital components towards a creative and constructive future for the human race as a whole. The release of a new game on Sega’s system is always a treat – and this is a case in point!

I discovered Delayed Again’s The Viking & The Ninja through issue 2 of Debug magazine, wherein they mention that Zebbe (Delayed Again) has quite the indie history behind them, with a CV that includes Pier Solar and The Great Architects, and Canon – Legends of New Gods to name a couple. The game is an action RPG that stars Birger (Viking) and Jackie (Ninja) in what is heavily focused on local co-op action. Although it is possible to play in a single-player, with the computer taking control of the other character. 

Whilst there is no current release date for The Viking & The Ninja, a physical release has been promised that Zebbe has stated will contain some very special surprises!
