Allegedly, Maxim Krippa had taken over as the new principal figure at GSC Game World, supplanting Sergey Grigorovich. Vitaliy Volochai, co-founder of Maincast Studios, seemingly confirmed this development in March 2023, acknowledging entrepreneur Maksym Krippa's investment in GSC Game World. Amidst a flurry of speculation, the publication turned to GSC Game World to clarify the deal. Maxim Tkachenko, community manager of GSC Game World, provided an official statement. He confirmed that the changes regarding the ultimate beneficiary of GSC Game World (GSC Ukraine LLC) and its affiliated companies were registered with the state authorities at the end of September. The Ukrainian registration took place on September 22, and the Czech registration a few days later, on September 27. These changes were part of the previously concluded direct investment agreement, the specifics of which are related to a strict non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Tkachenko emphasized that details such as the amount of investment, ownership structure, and investor stakes are considered trade secrets and are protected by the NDA.


Tkachenko emphasized that the collaboration between GSC Game World and Maxim commenced in 2020, marking the beginning of a meticulous evaluation process where both sides scrutinized each other's capabilities and potential synergies. This period was characterized by a thorough assessment of the advantages and drawbacks associated with deepening the partnership.


Ultimately, when the pivotal decision to transfer ownership materialized, it was apparent that the transition was unlikely to precipitate any substantial disruptions within the company. This consensus underscored a shared vision between the parties involved, affirming their confidence in the continuity and stability of GSC Game World's operations moving forward.

He also confirmed that Messrs. Sergey and Yevgeny Grigorovich will retain their positions as directors of the company, with Yevgeny continuing to serve as Executive Director.
