Back in the 90s I knew about Aladdin on the Sega Mega Drive and Super Nintendo but recently I discovered that Aladdin also came out on the Sega Master System.
When I heard about this I had to get it immediately as I was a fan of Aladdin. In my childhood I owned the movie on VHS and also had the game on the SNES. I purchased the game for the Sega Master System. Before putting on the game I immediately thought that this could be the worst one as it's on a 8 bit console and the graphics and sound quality would not be as great compared to the 16 bit consoles.
When I switched it on I was quite impressed. For an 8 bit console the graphics were good and sound quality was not bad. This version of the game follows the movie exactly. I have to say that the Master System version is the best version of Aladdin. Despite it being 8 bit graphics, it's the version that is closest to the movie.
The gameplay is excellent and easy. Only need to learn 2 buttons. Also it's got a password feature so you start where you left off.
Give this game a try if you haven't already. I guarantee you will find it enjoyable.
