As you probably already know, NeoFid Studios are passionate about creating games for retro consoles, they've proved themselves on the Megadrive, and now it's time to broaden their horizons.

We are delighted to announce that their very first game, Demons of Asteborg, is back in a remastered version for the GBA and NeoGeo.

Thanks to the power of these two machines, they'll be able to make a game that's even more beautiful, more colourful, better balanced, and very generous in additional content!

Each version of the game will have its own exclusive level, and the NeoGeo version will feature a brand-new two-player mode!

Just before Christmas, it was announced that Fatal Fury First Contact from SNK was available to download on the Nintendo Switch.

I’d never come across this Fatal Fury game before and that would add up as this game only ever came out on the Neo Geo Pocket Colour in 1999.

When I heard about this I was excited to play a fighting game that I hadn't managed to get to from over 21 years ago.

Antstream arcade has been around for almost a year now and it was something I was keen to get involved with.

For those who aren’t aware of the service, it’s a subscription-based site that allows you to stream games ranging from the 8-bit home micro-computers of the 80’s such as Amstrad, Spectrum and Commodore 64 through a selection of 16-bit titles from systems such as the Amiga and Mega Drive up to an impressive amount of arcade ports that span decades.

๐Ÿ“ฑ๐ŸŽฎ "5 Retro Video Games That You Can Play on Your Smartphone" ๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ“ฑ #Retrogaming #GamersUnite

Not so long ago you needed to download specific emulation apps in order to somehow get retro video games playable on your smartphone. These apps and methods were often unreliable and came with the dark spectre of copyright law hanging over them.

Those days were the times when only the truly dedicated retro gamer would venture down the path of downloading emulators, configuring them to work and then sourcing the roms for the games. It was never a straight forward process and one that often left you feeling a bit short changed at the end as the games weren’t necessarily formatted for a smartphone screen and touch screen controls.

It's going to be a Neo Geo Art Book!

Neo Geo has it's own beautiful art style that is both unique and beautiful, you can truly tell a Neo Geo Game apart from all other systems due to it's lovely brighty chunky sprites that bring so much character to the video games.
